OK I thought my mom had the market on bad gifts until I found this website of stupid gifts. It is hilarious! I can't wait to give the gift of joy to all!
I really want to give the ribbon that says "I have the receipt" to my mom so she can just wrap my "gifts" in that. I haven't received a gift from her I didn't return in like 10 years. Before that, I couldn't drive, so I had to just keep it.

You know that saying "giving is better than receiving"? Well in our family, is that really the truth?
If you give, the "thank you" is "Well, this isn't going to fit" or "This kind of lotion breaks my skin out". Then the gift is carelessly tossed (or thrown) to the side.
BUT, if you receive, it's always something we would have appreciated more if we were 10 years younger or 3 sizes smaller!
You know, when we tell Grandpa that the $100 is always the perfect size and color...we mean it! You would think they would have caught on by now!
Let's keep our fingers crossed for this Christmas...and hope the recipt is inside every box! :)
